How do I register?
We are not accepting new registrations as the position of Club Secretary is vacant.
Formation of teams is currently the responsibility of the coaches and team managers.
What are our fees and how do I pay them?
Our fees are kept as low as possible to enable affordable sport for families and are set by the committee each year. Please click here for more information, including fees for the upcoming season.
Do I need to trial to join a team?
Rosefield does not hold trials.
Players are put in teams based on coaches feedback and individual player’s ability, along with consideration of friendship groups and player requests.
The club reserves the right to form teams that benefits the majority of players and thus the club as a whole.
There is high demand for positions in the club and whilst we work hard to keep teams together from the previous summer and winter seasons, it cannot always be guaranteed. Current players receive first priority followed by previous players and then new players.
How do I get a uniform?
Who coaches the teams?
Coaches and team managers are volunteers from within our club community, usually parents, siblings or friends. All coaches are required to have a Working with Children Check. If you feel you can contribute in this way please click here.
Do the teams have training?
Summer Training:
Training is optional in summer. The season is more relaxed and warmer evenings and other commitments make practice more difficult. If a team wishes to train this can be negotiated between players and coach. The Rosefield courts are available so please advise the club secretary to confirm times.
Winter Training:
Teams are expected once a week at the Rosefield courts after 4pm at a time and day to be negotiated with the coach. The younger teams will be prioritised to train earlier. Lights are available for evening training.
Are games ever cancelled due to the weather?
SAUCNA have the following polices, for more information please click the policies below.
If games are cancelled we will inform coaches and team managers who will pass this information to their team.
Who umpires the games?
Summer Season
Rosefield Uniting Netball Club provides 1 umpire for each game and the opposition team provides the other umpire.
Winter Season
Rosefield Uniting Netball Club provides 2 umpires for all home games in the under 8 – under 15 age groups. Away game umpires are provided by the opposition.
