Training:
Training is optional in summer. The season is more relaxed and warmer evenings and other commitments make practice more difficult. If a team wishes to train this can be negotiated between players and coach. The Rosefield courts are available so please advise the club secretary to confirm times.
Fees and Uniform:
Fees include all affiliation fees, insurances, equipment and umpire payments.
Please click here for full details.
Uniform costs are extra. Please click here for details regarding club uniform.
Coaches/Team Managers/Committee:
Rosefield netball club relies upon volunteers (parents, siblings or friends) to coach and manage teams. Without assistance from our community in this way teams cannot be submitted, so please contact the club secretary at rosefieldnetballsa@gmail.com if you can contribute.
Teams:
Rosefield does not currently hold trials. Players will be put in teams based on coaches feedback and individual player’s ability, along with consideration of friendship groups amongst some grades and player requests. The club reserves the right to form teams that benefits the majority of players and thus the club as a whole. There is high demand for positions in the club and whilst we work hard to keep teams together from the previous summer and winter seasons, it cannot always be guaranteed. Current players receive first priority followed by previous players, then new players.
Grading:
The club will recommend a grade for your team and submit it to SAUCNA who is responsible for grading. Re-grading of a team may occur after the first 4 rounds of games and sometimes teams move to a more appropriate grade. The club’s requests are not always granted and the final decision rests with the grading committee.
